Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SteepList ("the Service"), operated by SteepList LLC ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service. Pretty straightforward.

2. The Service

SteepList is a community platform where users share and discuss deals from third-party retailers. We don't sell products ourselves. We don't guarantee the accuracy of any deal posted by users, the availability of products, or the reliability of any third-party retailer. When you click through to a retailer, you're dealing with them, not us.

3. User Accounts

You need an account to post deals, comment, or vote. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person. Don't share accounts, don't create multiple accounts, don't impersonate other people. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or our community guidelines.

4. User Content

You own the content you post (deals, comments, etc.), but you grant us a license to display, distribute, and modify it as needed to operate the Service. You're responsible for what you post. Don't post anything illegal, misleading, harassing, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Post affiliate links disguised as regular deal links
• Use bots to post deals, vote, or scrape the site
• Manipulate voting with multiple accounts
• Post spam, self-promotion, or advertising
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DON'T GUARANTEE THAT DEALS ARE ACCURATE, THAT PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE, THAT PRICES ARE CORRECT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SteepList LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months (which for most users is $0).

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll post a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
