About SteepList

SteepList started in 2018 when a couple of us got fed up with deal sites that were basically just affiliate link farms. Every "deal" was really just an ad, and the comments were full of bots posting fake "just bought this, great price!" replies. We figured there had to be a better way.

So we built SteepList. The idea is simple: real people share real deals, and the community votes on which ones are actually good. No affiliate links, no sponsored placements disguised as user posts, no algorithmic feed manipulation. If a deal is good, it rises to the top. If it sucks, it sinks. That's it.

We're a small team of 4, all remote. We keep costs low and pass that on by keeping the site free. We make money through a small amount of clearly-labeled display advertising and our optional SteepList Pro membership ($3/mo for faster alerts and no ads).
